If I was King today I'd institute a plan that was based off a 3:1 ratio to fix this mess. Decrease spending by 3 parts, increase income by 1 part. Repeat for 10 years and kick the world in the balls because we'll be back where we should be financially as a country.
Maybe it's time to move somewhere tropical and drink rum drinks until I forget my name.

The parts of the fart that smelled up the room would be hydrogen sulfide and methyl mercaptan. The nitrogen, oxygen, argon, methane, and carbon dioxide are not to blame.
12 years in majority from 1994 - 2006 and only 4.5 trillion added to the debt. Democrats added twice that in 6 years only.unemployment averaged 4.3% was as low as 4% and spiked after the attacks of 911 and the hurricane Katrina to 5.6%, and then after the spike was lowered EVERY year until they lost majority in 2006 when it was 4.6%. it was 7.4% when republicans gained majority in 1994. We all know by now congress makes the budget and they make it the year BEFORE it applies obviously. while republicans were in majority the deficit was down to $7 billion in 1998. this year? $1.6 TRILLION. Republicans are not perfect...but it is obvious which is far better than the other.....just saying.
